Government and opposition delegations will meet on November 15

Caracas, 11 Nov. AVN.- The National Government informed that next November 15, in the Dominican Republic, there will be a new opportunity for delegates from the State and the Venezuelan opposition to meet at a dialogue reunion in order to discuss differences and move towards political coexistence in the country.

"We reaffirm what has already been stated: the dialogue continues on November 15 in the Dominican Republic and we'll be there," expressed the Minister of Communication and Information and head of the delegation of the Executive, Jorge Rodriguez, in a message posted on his Twitter account.

Rodriguez also commented that the National Government is preparing a joint document to establish agreements "regarding the coexistence and peace that Venezuelans love and deserve so much".

The attendance to this meeting was also ratified by Luis Florido, who participated in these meetings as participant from the Venezuelan opposition that has complied with the call for dialogue expressed by the Dominican Republic until the end of September.

In 2016 a dialogue meeting was held as an initiative of the National Government, in order to resolve the political and economic situation in the country. However, despite the fact that a work route was drawn between the government and the opposition, the Venezuelan right-wing left the negotiating table.
