Regional Political Parties Chose Position on Electoral Ballot for Municipal Elections

Caracas, 09 Nov. AVN.- This Tuesday regional political organizations of the country chose their respective positions on the ballot for the municipal elections to be held on December 10.

The rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Tania D 'Amelio, reported in her Twitter account that this act was held in the states of Barinas, Amazonas, Miranda, Bolivar, Anzoategui, Sucre, Monagas, Cojedes, Nueva Esparta and Vargas.

In Zulia, the positions on the electoral ballot were also chosen for both the municipal elections and the regional election to be held in that entity, given the absolute lack declared by the Legislative Council of that region, after the refusal of the elected candidate, Juan Pablo Guanipa, to be sworn in the ANC last October 15.

The national organizations chose their positions on Monday at a conference held at the headquarters of the electoral body in Plaza Caracas. In that place, they were notified about the period to modify applications, which will begin this Tuesday and will extend until Wednesday.
